DPI prepared land surveying, landscape, & civil engineered site plans for an industrial park located at the intersection of Sullivan Avenue (CT 194)  and John Fitch Boulevard (US RT 5) in South Windsor, Connecticut. The industrial park comprised of three building lots and over 1/2 million SF of building space. Site design to date has included two industrial buildings, circumferential driveways for fire access, detention basins & wetland mitigation areas, landscaped berms, and multi-modal pathway along Sullivan Avenue. In addition, DPI completed plans for modifying 3,300 LF of state roads associated with the Industrial Park. This included extensive collaboration with CT DOT for OSTA approval for traffic signals, site access design, and additional turn lanes. The first two buildings are complete as regional distribution facilities for Hyundai Mobis and Vistar.
